  • Compliance: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and with RSS-210 of Industry and Science Canada. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) no harmful interference, and (2) acceptance of interference.

1 Use only a Listed limited-power source.
2 Connect all wiring to a safety extra-low voltage (SELV) circuit only.

2. Coverage Patterns

  • Top view (2-1)
  • Side view (2-2)
  • Optional look-down (2-3)

Recommendation: Because the PIR has a wider coverage pattern than the camera, reduce the detector's coverage area (2-4) with the pair of masks provided. Place the masks on the outside of the detector on each side of the sensor (2-5).

Note: Do not unmask the look-down zone.

3. Opening Detector

Note: If the detector is not mounted, do not mount it until the camera is attached.

  1. To unlock the detector cover:
    1. Press the top of the cover tab (3-1) with your finger to lift the lower edge.
    2. Lift the lower end of cover tab with your finger (3-2) to open it.
    3. Insert a flat head screwdriver in the slot (3-3) in the cover tab opening and turn it 180° to unlock the cover. Indicator points up (3-4).
  2. Insert a flat head screwdriver in slot (3-5) and lift to open the detector cover.

Note: If the detector is mounted close to the ceiling, insert flat head screwdriver here (3-6).

4. Preparing Camera

  1. Remove the two screws (4-1) from the top of the detector.
  2. Remove the plastic insert (4-2) from the top of the detector.
  3. Remove the cover from camera module:
    1. Insert a flat head screwdriver in slot (4-3) and lift to open cover.
    2. Grasp cover on both sides (4-4) and gently remove.

5. Mounting Camera on Detector

  1. Slide the camera base into the slot (5-1) on top of the detector base.
  2. Replace the two screws (5-2).
  3. Thread the wiring from the camera base through the opening (5-3) in the bottom of the camera module.

6. Wiring

Wire the camera module terminal block (6-1) to the detector terminal block (6-2).

  • The camera is pre-wired. (refer to Table 1).
  • User supplied external power (6-3)
  • Tamper output for user application (6-4)
  • Wiring from BNC cable (6-5) to video and GND terminals

Table 1: Terminal Connections

Label Function Label Function Wire Colors
T Tamper T Tamper Blue
GND GND GND GND Black
+ VDC + VDC Red
NC Alarm relay R Optional relay for video recorder (15 or 90 sec)
DA Digital alarm output DA Digital alarm input Yellow
T Tamper V Video output to supplied BNC cable Red (video), Black (GND)

7. Setting DIP Switches

  1. Set the DIP switches:
    1. Timer (7-1): Select 15 sec or 90 sec camera on and relay active time.
    2. Relay (7-2): Select NO for Form "B." Select NC for Form "A."
    3. Camera (7-3): Select On to run the camera continuously. Select Alarm, and the camera operates and output to relay is active for the duration set on the timer. Any new motion restarts the timer and the camera remains on.
  2. If the detector is not already mounted, follow the detector's mounting instructions.
  3. Replace the detector cover.
  4. To lock the cover (optional):
    1. Press the top of the cover tab (7-4) with your finger to lift the lower edge.
    2. Lift the lower end of cover tab with your finger (7-5) to open it.
    3. Insert a flathead screwdriver in the cover tab opening (7-6) and turn it 180° to lock the cover. Indicator points down (6-7).
  5. Replace the camera cover:
    1. Gently replace the cover. Ensure the pins align correctly and easily with the terminal block.
    2. Optional: Insert the tamper screw provided into the camera cover (4-5).
